Vacuum Cleaner Maintenance
To help ensure that your vacuum cleaner stays operating at an optimal level you should include regular maintenance, don't worry it’s not as difficult as you might think. We will also take a look at a few things you should be aware of while operating your vacuum cleaner. Most of your ongoing vacuum cleaner maintenance will consist of a good cleaning of some of the parts like the air filter or replacing parts as required.
With bagles vacuum cleaners you should frequently dispose of the dirt in the container and wipe the container clean with a cloth. The filter on a bagles unit should get a good cleaning about every four weeks as part of regular vacuum cleaner maintenance. Some filters are washable if so wash the filter, if it's not ment to be washed just bang the loose dirt off of the filter. Vacuum cleaners that have a bag should have the bag monitored each cleaning; a simple look at the sensor or gentle squeeze of the bag will let you know how full it is. When the bag gets to about 60% -70% full it’s a good idea to change the bag to help keep the suction power at an optimal level.
Try keeping a log book or even just make a quick note on the calendar of what you did on the last cleaning. This will help keep you on a regular schedule, which in turn will increase the life of your vacuum cleaner.
